Madonna wants to adopt sibling for son David Ban da

Madonna , an American recording artist, actress and entrepreneur.
Madonna wants the son she adopted from Africa to have a sibling from his home country - but only if the people of Malawi give her the green light.
Madge got into hot water last year when critics accused the Malawian government of looking the other way to speed up the adoption of David Banda.

"Many people - especially our Malawian friends - say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister," she told the Malawi newspaper, The Nation.
"It's something I have been considering, but would only do, if I had the support of the Malawian people."
She told the paper it was difficult to deal with the controversy that erupted when she first took on little David.
Madonna has said she was glad to pave the way for other adoptions in the poor southern African country plagued by the AIDS epidemic.
A million children in the country have been orphaned by AIDS.
David has come far since the pop star began proceedings in 2006 when he was 13 months old and in an orphanage.
"It is a priority for me to educate my son about the world, but always to stay connected to his Malawian culture," she said.
David will always have his heart in his homeland and "has a big map of Africa in his room with lots of arrows pointing to Malawi," Madonna said.
